After entering the measurement parameters into the MR software, the measurement positions are automatically displayed virtually in the room. The sensors can then be easily aligned to these positions.
Sound measurement process
1. define parameters
The operator puts on the data glasses, starts the HoloMetrix app, and conveniently enters the dimensions of the object to be measured in the menu window that appears in the room. The data glasses then automatically create a virtual reference cube, which is placed over the object to be measured using drag and drop.

2. generate enveloping surface

After positioning the reference cuboid, a menu window appears in which the number of segments and the distance to the measurement object can be conveniently entered. In addition, you can hide the measuring surfaces that are not to be measured.
The software is suited for measurements by discrete measuring points (DIN EN ISO 9614 - 1) and for measurement using a scan path (DIN EN ISO 9614 - 3).

Similarly, the scan path is generated automatically when using the scanning method. The measuring probe is first aligned at the start of the path. After clicking on "Start", a virtual sphere moves along the path at a previously defined speed. Simply following the virtual sphere with your probe ensures that you scan in accordance with the standard. This avoids time-consuming repeated measurements.

After clicking on "Start", a virtual sphere moves along the path at a previously defined speed. Simply following the virtual sphere with your probe ensures that you scan in accordance with the standard. This avoids time-consuming repeated measurements.
4. result visualization
The measured values can then be entered into the respective segments via a menu window. These values are used to automatically generate a sound field map. This visualization facilitates both interpretation and detection of acoustic problem areas. Measures can then be taken to reduce the acoustic emissions of the measured object, if necessary.
