After entering the measurement parameters on the PC, they can be sent directly to the data glasses and displayed virtually in the room. The sensors can then be easily aligned to these positions. Once the data has been successfully transferred, a virtual window will appear in the HoloLens prompting you to place the reference cuboid. Click on this button and stretch one hand forward. A hand beam will now appear from your hand, at the tip of which a two-dimensional reference rectangle can be seen. This blue reference rectangle follows the movement of your hand. Place the rectangle so that it surrounds the object to be measured and is in the correct position (or on the correct plane in space). You can now confirm the position with an air tap. If the position is correct, the corresponding spatial reference cuboid will appear immediately.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Sound Intensity module now creates the enveloping surface and displays it automatically. There is no need for further preparation.<\/p>

Depending on the measuring direction you have selected in ArtemiS, the first segment is now framed in green and a transparent sphere is displayed in its center. You can now easily align your measuring device (SI probe) with this sphere. By clicking on \"Start\" on the remote control of the SI probe, the measurement is started at this point and indicated by a green progress bar around the sphere. Once the measurement is completed at this point, the measurement result is automatically displayed at this segment. Repeat this process for all segments of the enveloping surface.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Once all subsegments have been successfully measured, a sound field map is automatically generated. This visualization facilitates both interpretation and detection of acoustic problem areas. Measures can then be taken to reduce the acoustic emissions of the measured object, if necessary. The measurement results are not only visualized in HoloLens, but are also automatically transferred to the PC and displayed in ArtemiS SUITE.
